The Wellspring Initiative
What is it?
It is a call for the people of Springfield Church of God to unite ourselves in prayer, seeking the Lord as our supplier. Just like a wellspring is a source of continual supply, so the Lord God must be our source of continual supply. We are commuting to focus our lives on six areas of prayer for our church for the remainder of 2024. Rather than seek to use manmade ways to grow the church we are turning to the Lord and depending upon Him to supply all we need.
How do I join?
Sign up below to commit to praying regularly for the 6 areas of The Wellspring Initiative. Pick up the prayer cards and intentionally pray throughout your week for these areas, 1 per week.
When does it start?
We are launching The Wellspring Initiative on April 14, 2024, and will spend the remainder of 2024 pursuing intentional prayer.
Are there times to pray together?
Yes! We will be holding quarterly worship and prayer nights to spend time together praying over these areas and worshipping. In addition to these, we will be sharing times to gather to pray or utilize the sanctuary as a space of prayer in the coming weeks.
